In June of 2005, I was fortunate enough to travel to Yellowstone National Park with my best friend Amy and her family. It was an amazing trip. It was the farthest North I have ever been. Living in Texas all my life, I am used to seeing the sun rise in the East and set in the West. I will never forget waking up one morning in Montana, and seeing the sun rise not far from where it had set the night before.
These photographs are just a tiny portion of the memories I took away from that trip.
"My Yellowstone"
"Around the Bend"
"Big Bear"
"Yellowstone dyptech"
You may be wondering as to why there is a black bar down the middle of the photograph. That is because this photograph is actually comprised of two separate photographs. I did not realize how closely the horizons lined up until I had printed both pictures and held them next to each other. The piece you see here was actually put together in Photoshop.
